Ingredients: 1 cup (8 ounces) Neufchatel cream cheese
1/2 cup (4 ounces) Dean's sour cream (NOT the light version)
1 ¼ cup (3 oz.) finely shredded Wisconsin Grader's Reserve, 5 Year Aged Cheddar Cheese [half of bar]
¼ (1 oz.) cup finely shredded Wisconsin Grader's Reserve, 10 Year Aged Cheddar Cheese [1/4 of bar] [Share remaining Wisconsin Grader's Reserve Cheddars with your favorite friend(s)]
½ teaspoon garlic powder – more if desired
Cooking Directions:
Mix cream cheese and sour cream together in a microwave-safe bowl; heat in microwave until softened and easy to stir, about 30 seconds. Stir in garlic powder.
Stir Cheddar cheese into cream cheese mixture and heat in microwave until dip is smooth, 30 to 40 seconds. Stir. Heat in microwave for another 10 seconds if needed.
Cook's Note: -You can substitute the sour cream for mayonnaise or even plain yogurt if you like. -You can also add in hot sauce, Italian herbs, garlic powder, chopped hot peppers, chopped olives, sun-dried tomatoes - the list is endless!
